By using measurelawn.com, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

Measure Lawn provides a free tool to map your property, identify your grass type, and generate a personalized DIY lawn care calendar. We also connect users with local lawn care professionals upon request.

The service is provided “as is” - measurements are estimates based on user-drawn maps and satellite imagery.

Accuracy Disclaimer

• Lawn area calculations are estimates based on your manual drawings
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of measurements, product recommendations, or care calendar advice
• Always follow product label instructions
• Consult a local lawn professional for specific advice

Amazon Affiliate Links

Our care calendar contains links to Amazon.com products. We earn a small commission on purchases made through these links at no extra cost to you.

• Product recommendations are general and based on your grass type and climate zone
• We are not responsible for product quality, pricing, or availability on Amazon

Lawn Professional Quotes

When you request quotes, we share your contact information with partner lawn care professionals so they can reach out to you.

• We do not guarantee the quality, pricing, or availability of lawn care services
• Any agreement you make is between you and the lawn professional - Measure Lawn is not a party to that contract

User Content

• Maps you draw remain your property
• By saving a map, you grant us a license to use the anonymized map data for AI model training
• You can revoke this license by requesting data deletion at privacy@measurelawn.com

Prohibited Use

• Do not use this service for illegal purposes
• Do not attempt to access other users' data
• Do not abuse the API endpoints
• Do not submit false information in quote requests

Intellectual Property

Measure Lawn, the logo, and the website design are our property. Google Maps imagery is provided under Google's terms of service.

Third-Party Data Sources

Measure Lawn uses public geospatial data to improve the accuracy of property analysis. These data sources include:

USGS 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) — Elevation data provided by the United States Geological Survey. This data is in the public domain as a work of the US government.

OpenStreetMap — Building footprint data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL). For full license terms, see openstreetmap.org/copyright.

NAIP Imagery — Aerial imagery from the USDA National Agriculture Imagery Program. This data is in the public domain as a work of the US government.

Limitation of Liability

Measure Lawn is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service. Since Measure Lawn is a free service, our maximum liability is limited to $0. We are not responsible for the actions of lawn care professionals.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For US users, applicable state consumer protection laws also apply.
